Halifax is a major business centre and the provincial capital of Nova Scotia. The Atlantic coast city has beautiful beaches, historic museums and serene lighthouses in its vicinity. The Peggy Cove lighthouse is one of the most photographed locations around. The Halifax Citadel is another historic site in the downtown and is a wonderful experience to explore the mysteries all alone. The weather is pleasant during Summers and Falls in the city. The peak season in the city with much tourist activity is May through October, however, it also accounts for the high rates on the hotel and flight bookings, so you should plan and confirm bookings well in advance.
